As I recover "misplaced" shots from my older Lightroom catalog, I discovered this group of shots that I took about three years ago on a drive out of Moab driving east on US 128 along the Colorado River. I know that there are more shots to be found because I remember more river photos.

This set begins just before the sunrise can be seen and progresses until the first sunlight is visible.

Bridges Loc: Memphis, Charleston SC, now Nazareth PA

Nice shots! I like the color and scope of these shots. It seems like you are driving through the Grand Canyon, and I guess in a way you are -- just not the deepest part. I always preferred Zion and Bryce Canyons to the Grand Canyon because of being able to drive through them. I was never on this road but would like to travel it someday.

I was through the same area and highway this past November. Your pictures are a wonderful reminder of my journey!
