Numbers Stations - They have something to do with secret government operations, but no one seems to have a perfect understanding of what's going on. These stations are still in operation, and there are also stations that attempt to jam their signals.

EDIT: You can also spray the record with - something - alcohol, water, record cleaner, and then play it. The liquid will help the needle remove the dirt.

I just used my first wife's old vinyls for targets, they were wrapped so bad from improper storage they wouldn't even sail when tossed and so dirty you couldn't see the grooves. besides her taste in music oh well you get the idea.
Plain, white, school Elmer's glue works the best. Great to clean keyboards as well.

Keyboards? I would think the glue would ooze down below the keycaps.

Several years ago I read that you could actually put your keyboard in your dishwasher. I dont remember, but I assume in the top of the dishwasher. No, I never tried it.
Yes, I've seen that. Really, what could it hurt? Is it going to dissolve components? I'd try it and report back, but I don't want to. : )
Actually, I have a bad Apple kbd, so I could try that. First, I'd have to test it and make a list of the defective keys. I'd do a comparison after washing it. I'll see if I can find the keyboard (two of them, I think) and give it a try.
