My neighbor dropped off a Nikonos II camera for me to look at and clean up. Her late husband was the photographer and she hasn't a clue about all of the gear he left behind. He was a videographer, actor, musician. Many would recognize him by face but not necessarily name as he was a character actor, the late Mickey Jones.
Mickey traveled the world and when he was going diving he took this Nikonos with him. It appears to be in working order and no worse for wear.
So with no further adieu. Here are a few shots of a late 60's Nikonos with 35mm lens.

Have Nikon or a dealer who specializes in these check the gaskets, it is the #1 reason for failure in them.
I have one. It has had about 50 rolls of film through it. Maybe 100 exposures worth keeping. Not the cameras' fault! That's all on me!!

My wife took mine to Hawaii with a momens group and brought great shark photos! I hacn't had that camera underwater in 15-20 years and it was still watertight!!
Yep! Great cameras for their day. I love digital but haven't dove with one except for a small P&S. I'm anxious to dive with my Oly TG-6. Not going to put my full frame Nikons in the water. Waterproof case or not!

I've got one that is trashed inside but the case still tight, most of the 'gears' are gone.
