Thank you, lindmike. The Canon R7 does not need an adapter for the RF (mirrorless) lenses. But for all the other regular (EF) lenses, an adapter is used. Even though the R7 has 33 MP versus the R5 (45 MP) the sharpness is equal.
Due to the upgraded new sensor versus the older one for the Canon R5. I was surprised by the R7's sharpness. However, the R7's ISO's are not as noise-free as the R5's. But, a good noise-free program will eliminate most of the photo noise. So, using the R7 with it's 1.6x factor, the R7 will have 1,280mm using the Canon RF 800 lens. (800 x 1.6x = 1280mm). Not bad for $1500 (R7 camera) and $900 for the Canon 800mm lens. Both the camera and lens are light-weight and easy to carry. Don't need a tripod.
