Thanks,

This is a lovely capture including the Bible.

This is a nice mortar and pestle. Just to let you know, as a pharmacist, I love these little gems of my practice. You could add a beaker or flask. Even adding a Apothecary jar or show globe enhances the photo.
Add to the photo a thick book perhaps a pharmaceutical or medical book, another mortar and pestle made of glass or porcelain and a bud vase holding a single flower such as a rose or carnation. I like to pair animate and inanimate objects together. Thanks for allowing my critique.

Thank you for the critique, you can always stop by and do so anytime love it! Is not a bible, but as a chef I consider that book a bible. The author is Karen Page and Andrew Dornenburg the book is " The Flavor Bible" basically is about spices and herbs. Great book to have at home if you like cooking.

All the Best!

I always like to see other people's still life with its pieces to make up the composition. I like what you did although I also thought the book was a bible, after reading it is a book about flavors I realized you need to lighten up the words or area for FLAVOR. It would give immediate understanding why it's part of the composition.

Nicely done. My only suggestion would be to move the subject more to the right and allow the image on top of the Flavor Bible to lead the eye into the subject.

Very nice, Ernesto!! I love the composition and how everything ties in together. Even the lettering on the book matches into the colors of the seeds and bay leaves. I wish the book had a different hue or color; that particular yellow doesn't quite fit in or maybe add a lemon or other yellow object to the scene to balance out the colors.

Very nicely done!!

You are really going to have to put together a culinary magazine to showcase your photos!!
