More of your color fest, Joe!
Nice(?) photos of the local market, Joe. I've been to Hong Kong many times. And Kowloon a few times. Sort of a mandatory experience for shipboard service in the Navy in the South China Sea. A little different from the usual tourist's experience I think. Dust ups in the China Fleet Club with the Brit sailors comes to mind. And a few other interesting experiences. Waking up with an unexpected tattoo, my one and only! Ah, the good(?) old days!

Thank you Mike, lots of color here, yes, but pretty much of the same hues, that what you get when you visit the meat market, not actually my favorite, but it's there and I took a go at it.

Thanks Chief for looking in on the tour again and your comment. Not necessarily the nicest pictures portraying meat, but it's part of the market experience. I can imagine that as a Navy person you must have spent quite some time in Hong Kong, I have seen many of your confreres during my frequent visits and stays in the then colony. And I would say, yes, they were the good (!) old days, when we were young(er) and the future was still lying plentifull and promising ahead of us -- yes, those were the days my friend, we thought they'll never end ....
Nice set. Lots of things I wouldn't eat, though.

Thanks Ken, it is a pretty good mix what I caught here, chicken feet are definitely out for me (that's a joke in our family), and I would shy back from the sausages (weird taste in my opinion) and a couple of others as well!

Thank you Joe, glad you liked the images in this set. While the traditional Chinese meal contains generally more vegetables that meats in comparison to the Western diets, Chinese have definitely been eating meats aplenty and also maybe more adventurously than what generally our Western tastes are used to. Here's a toast to a good meal!

You put it very well, Joe!
Maybe we walked past each other on the street there once upon a time!

Who knows Chief, everything is possible - what years would you have been out there?
