Hello, just curious to know if this is a mood setting picture, or just a crappy picture. All feedback welcome. Thanks.

I did some serious adjustments on it, greatly reducing the clarity, changing colors to a certain extent, and perhaps a little too much dehaze. Also, doing some curve work on it. But it is just a picture intended to set a mood.

If you like it then that’s all that counts. Why do you care what others think? It is one of the reasons my pictures don’t get posted. If I don’t like my pictures I delete them. Many of my friends have some of my pictures and that is just fine.

Yes, that is true, but I like to see what general consensus's are at times. I do like it myself. If I am going to sell pictures however, sometimes it is good to get a feel of what others in general think of it. Some people seem to think a picture should be an exact rep of what is there, intensified in beauty a little of course, others think images should be art as well as a representation. It is just all in fun.

Thanks,

I love it. The color and softness of the sky are beautiful. I like bare trees against a sky background. And the bird in the middle is an added bonus.

It has neither beginning nor end. I would like it better if it had one or the other.

Hi, Barneyanne. Thank you. Being older and this being winter and many factors, I don't get out as much as I like to, so I have about 1000 pictures of the trees outside the house. Lately I have discovered by accident ways to soften the sky and give it a little color and such. Among other things, while I used to just use the color illumination hue and saturation tools, I am playing around with color grading too, which seems to be doing some nice things for the pictures. I am far from an expert on photoshop. But I have fun with it regardless.

Thanks for commenting.

I am no art critic, but I do know what I like and I like your photo. I find it a bit moody but also interesting and somewhat insirational to do similar photo post processing.
