Don't know what it is about this photo....
I just like it.
Shot this a couple of years ago and never did anything with it but I have always been drawn to it.
Named it "Moody Elegance"
Maybe that just says it.
The details are not in focus.
The grass exhibits a lot of chromatic aberration, aka purple fringing.
The colorspace is uncalibrated.
The UHH Photo Critique Section would be a more logical section to post your question:
https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/s-117-1.htmlCould be a <delete> candidate? If not simply deleted, look at addressing the technical issues above. Consider too, cropping more toward an 16:10 aspect, taking image content off the top in a way that moves the 'middle' grass higher into the frame.
"Moody Elegance",, Good title! Nothing needs to be altered, but then there are those, I'll say no more..
If you like it keep it. I like it as it is.

It has a calmness to it that I like yet it is also chaotic. The important thing is that you like it.

This very artistic image is evidence of a strong capability to visualize. It is quite interesting and has a lot to hold the eye of the viewer. It presents a "commonness" and a "specialness" at the same time. It is also a strong argument for worrying less about technical trivialities and more about content and form when taking photographs.

It is "art" with some interesting compositional elements. I like it! Why be so harsh with technical details Paul?

Funny thing is I never noticed those technical problems

Clearly, I misread the title and the purpose of posting the image into the Main discussion section. And yet, every single feedback point is actionable by the photographer / digital editor. Including, deciding to ignore the feedback, rather than investigating the image details, and performing some or all the corrective actions.
