Does anyone know if it’s possible to find battery chargers for cameras that are no longer current models? I suppose I could try to contact the mfr, or the retailer that sold it, but I wonder if there is something else I may be missing.
Any thoughts will be appreciated.
Thank you.
Have you tried Googling "charger for <battery model> battery"?
Google for a replacement battery and see if any results also show a charger.

If you can tell us which brand and model of the camera and if possible the model number of the battery I think it's possible to find such a charger. Perhaps the manufacturer no longer sell it but you still have option of buying used or new ones from third party manufacturers.

or do the same at B & H website.
You might try places like Batteries Plus or do a web search for universal battery chargers. I needed a charger awhile back and found what I needed at Batteries Plus.
Battery Plus Bulb prices are very high. So they are not my first choice.
Amazon, ebay and / or B&H are all great and the logical first places to look.
Ksocha after having worked as a camera salesperson decades ago I can assure you that the staff at your locale camera shop could be (and often are) a valuable resource for you in your quest to obtain difficult replacement items for your kit.
Currently my "Go To" is Ace Photo in NOVA (Northern VA) at 44710 Cape Ct. STE 122. Ashburn, VA 20147.
They are located within a half hour drive from you (Bethesda MD) Maybe call them at: 703-430-3333.
They are one of the Largest Independently Owned Camera Shop in the Mid-Atlantic area and are known for their expert-level staff. Several of my Studio's team hang out there to stay current on events happening in our market.
In an era where brick and mortar entities are becoming a relic of wonderful days of future past a visit to same can be a wake-up call to an alternate reality that can provide priceless wisdom in the long run if you are into the commercial side of photography. At least for me I've benefited immeasurably (client referrals etc.) on my career journey from same.
Hope this helps...
Wishing you (and your three rescue kitty cats) all the best Ksocha!

I would try KEH. They used to take very much an ala carte approach to selling used equipment. No telling what they might have in a back corner.

Blue Nook has the whole Wasabi line at excellent prices.
90% of my chargers (and batteries) are Wasabis from Blue Nook. Very few OEM. NONE of my cameras are current model.

Not all camera batteries are the same in physical dimensions, contact configurations, and/or electronic values. If you can find the specifications for your camera batteries, there are many generic chargers or chargers for other devices that can be utilized. Most modern chargers feature an automat trickle circuit which automatically reduced the charging rate or shot the charge off when the battery if s fully charged- this prevents overcharging and overheating which can damage both the battery and the charger.
You would need to know the voltage, ampere/hour rating, and charge rate in milliamperes. Then there is a matterof attaching the charger leads in the correct polarity to the battery contacts.
If you can find a used unit, an exact replacement through your dealer, on oneof the various buy and sell sites, that is your easiest solution. If not, you will have to improvise somethg as I have explained.
If you purchase a generic charger for multiple batteries, make certain it is compatible with your specific batteries.
