Hi my sport Hog friends. I thought I had already posted this but don't see it. Are any of you using MaxPreps.com and also selling Prints, Canvas, Metals, etc of those photos off of your Zenfolio.com accounts. If so I have a few questions for you. Thanks BE SAFE!!

I started selling my T&I (team and individual) material via Zenfolio this year. A year ago I bought 2 domain names which now I finally forward those web addresses to my Zenfolio account.

This week, I started adding my sports action photos, those that I submit to Maxpreps and some of the ones that never make it to maxpreps but are great photos for print.

Since Zenfolio takes a cut of the prints or digital downloads, I only sell prints of all action photos (no digital). I rather leave all the digital sales on Maxpreps since we get nearly 100% of the profits!

For the T&I work, I sell both prints and digital. There's one item I don't sell digital images and those are the team photo's because if the digital team photo is sold to a parent, from past experience that parent would share the digital print with all the other parents.

It's easier for someone to remember my domain name then the longer zenfolio link.

I sell my images (action and T&I) on 'Team and Individual for sale' and 'Game Photos for sale' links on the upper right side of the webpage.

I'm still working thru learning how to setup/config a webpage on zenfolio but I pretty much followed one of zenfolio's website templates that has a shopping cart. I'm sure my zenfolio webpage will improve over time but this was a quick way to get parents to buy stuff and so far its working good!

I just now reopened a new account with Zenfolio. I already had account but wasn't using it. They had a 50% off going on so I got with them to see what I could do about getting the 50%. I had to quite my old account and start over. Talk about a pain in the butt. I have an iwantmyname.com account that forwards people to Zenfolio from my www.fleemanphotography.photos. I really don't know if it is working right yet. I have a zoom appointment with Zenfolio Friday to help me get set up on website. I think is the best way to get this done. I like you will not sell digital on Zen as we are selling on MaxPreps and get all the money from sells. I will have photos from Max on Zen. Still thinking about pricing. When someone buys on Max they probably go to some low ball photo printing place to buy their prints and other items. But having Max photos on Zen also they will probably just buy from Zen and not the digital from Max!!! How do you do yours? Will see what Friday brings. Looked at your latest Max photos AWESOME. I am going Thursday to local school to shoot 4 games they are having their yearly Tournament. They go 3 days so teams can play different teams (there are 8 teams). Thanks. I just started selling the sport action photos on Zenfolio (I only linked a few galleries) that are the same ones off of Maxpreps and have 0 sales! My T&I photo's on Zenfolio are selling only because the High School booster clubs know that their team and player portraits are posted on Zenfolio. For Zenfolio photo pricing, I use Zenfolio smart pricing so 8x10's are $10 each for their lustre finish as an example.

My basketball sales are not even close to my Fall football sales but then again the football teams have a ton of players on both sides where basketball, maybe 20-30 players for both teams total.

Good luck on your upcoming games. I have a bunch of soccer games coming up with a few basketball games sprinkled in.
