Just glad I am in the twilight of my life and don't have my whole life to watch America become a socialistic country with Presidents and their son's in bed with Russia, with crooks being v**ed into congress....and the list goes on. :(

Many of us feel that way. I'm 77 so I figure I've got 30 more years at the most.đ

I'm 77 and I don't want 30 more years.

Many people need to get a life. First off, Joe said he is not for banning gas stoves and secondly, the picture of Jill was taken in 2020 before there was any talk of banning them.
I haven't had a gas stove since 1975. I like more precise control of temperature.

I like and share your optimism. I have felt 100 is a good target from the time I thought about it as a kid.

There is a very simple solution for that...

Thank you for your concern.

Oh yes! INDUCTION COOKTOPS â the only way to go!
Until the power goes out, the grid goes down or a natural-disaster hits.A more reliable fuel-supply (natural gas) may still be available (being protected underground is an advantage in most cases). Natural gas (methane â a simpler gas [formula = CH4] does not release as many pollutants into the atmosphere.
Or at the very least a backup-generator, probably propane fueled. (Propane [formula = C3H8] and its sometimes accompanying gas butane [formula = C4H10] burn cleaner than gasoline or diesel, do not gel and have good long-term storage capability).

I have a natural gas whole home generator which will be useless once natural gas is eventually phased out but hopefully not in my lifetime.

Maybe the NG or propane equipment can be modified to run on Hydrogen. Zero CO2 or CO emissions.
Of course all for nothing if NG or coal is used to generate power to separate the H2 from water . . . .
It would be nice if H2 fusion were immediately available, but that technology has been âtwenty years awayâ for fifty-plus years.

Nuclear in the simple answer to H2 generation.

Gasoline, diesel, natural gas, hydrogen, even nuclear to power a home generator⌠these are all non-renewable sources in the long run.
Have you guys not seen those YouTube videos of how to connect a washing machine motor to a car alternator to generate enough electricity to run itself and even power an entire house with the excess energy?
I am really surprised that Trump didnât pour billions of taxpayer funds to research this concept. Heck, it could have easily powered all those UV lamps he wanted people to put up their butts to k**l C***D.

Used to hook up the tractor to power our early morning cow milking when the electricity was off.
