Caught a nice mess of speckled sea trout under the railroad trestles on the eastern edge of Lake Ponchatrain. If you expand the photo you can see the draw bridge pointing skyward just beneath the setting sun.

Nice shot Sirsnapalot. That's the old Hwy. 11 bridge in Slidell. Used to live not far from there.

Yep that’s it, I took the photo while we were driving down the old Rats Nest Road.

Before Katrina, at the end of Rats Nest Road, there was a restaurant called Vera's. Great place to eat. I think they moved to Gause Rd. after Katrina.
