I'm curious as to who knows the why and the where of the the title.
Read about a French army officer Alfred Dreyfus was falsely accused of treason stripped of his rank and sent to Devils Island.There he sat, day after day, sitting on a rock (now named Dreyfus Rock) staring out to sea. He was finally exonerated after Nobel prize winner Emile Zola uncovered and published the truth.

Sorry but Zola did not win a Nobel prize. He was nominated twice but won neither time.

You are right, but it is an interesting historical subject and the heron standing on a rock and staring out into Tampabay reminded me of Dreyfus.
