New Amsterdam was good first couple of seasons, and the interpersonal relationships were great. Recently it has become more of a social commentary which lots of hospitals are. The Resident on Fox Network must have good medical advisers, and some of the intraoperative scenes they show are very realistic except for the short time it takes for you to get your a$$ out of trouble if you get in trouble. Not enough blood for some of the scenes. The characters and egos depicted are present in every hospital. Then you don't want your surgeon to have doubts about where to cut. One of my mentors once had a patient ask for an itemized bill for taking out a cancerous kidney. His bill charged $50 for taking out the kidney and $750 for knowing where to cut.
