I have a weird cat and I'm wondering if anyone else has one similar to mine. For instance she will go into our clothes closet and just sit and look at the wall for thirty minutes or so. When she wants a drink she puts her front feet in the bowl, she has a big bowl about a foot across and two inches deep, and then lick the water off the bottom of her feet. In the morning after I shower she will go into the shower and lick the water off the floor and when she jumps out she licks the bottom of her feet. She is like all cats, except of course tigers, and hates water. When certain television commercials come on mainly auto dealer commercials, she will stand on her hind legs in front of it and hiss at them. When we go to bed she jumps in and crawls under the covers until she in near the center of the bed and will stay there most of the night.
I was wondering if anyone else's cat behaves like this or is my cat truly weird in its own right.

Your cat is extremely weird, even for a cat.
But she has the right idea about TV commercials.
You do have a weird one but most all the cats I have owned have had something weird about them. One had no depth perception...couldn't jump very high or far (was kinda funny sometimes)....this also caused the issue with her water bowl. Since she couldn't tell how deep the water was....she would put her paw in the water and lick it. I got a water bowl that had a picture on the bottom inside the bowl...it helped a little..she would sometimes lick out of the bowl then.
Sounds oddly like (my neighbor's) wife...
I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! It's not just me like my wife insists
I don't think your cat is particularly weird though she does sound like a BIT of a nut job. Who knows what goes on in their beady little brains? At least she's not boring.
We had the cat carrier sitting in the living room beside the sofa. If you said the word home that cat would jump up from whatever she was doing and run to the carrier. My husband trained her by placing dry food in the carrier and saying home. It did not take long to train her. Another cat will go and fetch. I smoked Winston in the red pack. I would ball it up and throw it into the hall. She would retrieve it and bring it back and drop it at your feet. She would do this until you got tired.
What you described is normal cat behavior. There's nothing whatsoever weird about it. In other words, it's extremely normal.
If you wanna see some weird cat behavior, stop by my place some time.
(I have two --TWO-- furry monsters lurking around my place, so if you do stop by, be prepared. Kevlar and belly scratching skills suggested.)

Lots of cats will stick their paw in water and lick it off. We had an Abyssinian that loved to stick his paw in one of our aquariums and then lick it off. The tank had a big Oscar in it and the cat developed a game with the fish. He would put his paw in the tank and bat at the fish, and when the Oscar snapped at him, he’d jump straight up and then do it again. The cat was fishing and the fish was catting 😺. As for starring at the wall, perhaps he hears something you can’t. We had a cat that stared at a wall for long periods, and turned out there was a flying squirrel in the wall (maybe he hears a mouse?). Our cat will often crawl under the covers in the bed and sometimes sleep the entire night - other times she sleeps in a cat bed on the end. So maybe a little unique personality, but all cats are different, and sticking their paws in water and then licking it off is not unusual from my experience. BTW, mine periodically hisses at her image in a mirror.
Our little gal Zelda sticks her feet in the water bowl and licks her paws. She and her brother, Dennis, were abandoned by a low-life neighbor. I think she got her water by licking the dew off her paws. Dennis laps his water, but Zelda is a paw dipper. While this may not be a common behavorial trait, I do not believe it be weird.
My folks would take three Siamese cats with them to Florida every winter. One really liked pulling the tails off of those little lizards that run around. Or I guess I should say that he just held them and they did the pulling. By spring there wasn’t a lizard with a full tail anywhere.
My son has a chihuahua dog that won’t step over a shadow on the floor and when he goes outside, he walks out the door backwards. He has other issues as well. Really needs a counselor...
That's why we love our pets. They have unique personalities like people. My dog has too many quirks to list. I never had a dog as unique as my pup.
I am not convinced that there is "normal behavior" for cats. 😺 We had a stray who would scoop the food out of the can with his paw, and lick it off.

"Normal" and "cat" do not belong in the same sentence.
