I saw this in a store called Tuesday Morning. I took a pass on the purchase though as our Saint Bernard puppies just turned one year old with one being just under 100 pounds and the other being just a bit over.

They wanted a bit too much for this to have it decimated in a day or two.

Bailey (brown like the Irish Cream) and Picasso. Our 6 foot son is under Picasso. Both of them are about 25% bigger now.

You already know. lol Twenty five pound bags of puppy chow are almost useful but it was all that was available so we bought all five bags.

I wonder if they make Saint Bernard toys for Hedgehogs to play with?

Some Hedgehog trivia:
“Always pet the hedgehog from head to tail – in the direction of the quills. Like stroking a dog’s fur”.

HHC101 is a source of information for people looking to adopt a hedgehog as pet.

So it’s true for Saint Bernards and Hedgehogs.

I have a friend who has a pet hedgehog. Unlike the web site, real hedgehogs are cute, and they don’t eat as much as a Saint Bernard.

You know, we like buying food. It used to be kids, now it's large dogs. lol

We had six Saints at one time. Great gentle dogs. One of our grandkids used to ride Brutus, the 220 lb male. His sister, Victoria, was quite often a pillow in my daughter's daycare.

We just need to survive the "puppy stage" Bwana.

We also have a 5-pound Pomeranian pup and the large beasties have this bizarre notion that they are her size. This is not a bad thing until they think that they can A) both fit through the extra large dog door, or B) run through the house at a full gallop.

Things have been done to the leather couch that simply cannot be undone...

They are sweet though, there are just some days when you don't necessarily want to be a depository for enormous 4-legged saliva dispensers. :)

Thanks Joe, they are what I refer to as CPP's (Crappy Phone Pics) but they have a bit of story behind them. Thanks for stopping by.

Oh, and just as an FYI, you aren't far off. I work 60 hours a week as a correctional officer and we (mostly my wife) run two businesses out our home. T'was a very astute guess. lol

Thank you Sir. I don't think that many people comprehend what a toll this environment takes on the people who work in it. Not everyone has the intestinal fortitude to be verbally abused for 12 hours each day and not take it home.

I think the Verizon and AT&T have an inkling though. Their First Responder discounts make our cell phone bill almost tolerable.

I know it's a rotten job, one that I could never do, but it needs to be done and I'm glad you are there to do it. A lot of other people are as well, maybe they just don't know it.
