I do not do much on Viewbug, but they have been quite insistent with the e-mails lately so I went and looked at my photos. I noticed that while viewing one I saw where it said print. I clicked and saw that I could buy it for $4 or so. Does that mean anyone can buy it or just me as the owner of the print? I never signed up to have my stuff sold that I know of anyway.
I find their web site hard to navigate. I’m still don’t know how to find my stuff easily. I suppose once I figure out how I got there once it will be easier.
Main question, can anyone buy my photos and who gets the money! I clicked buy and it ask for name and payment info… I did not go farther as I didn’t want to buy it.
Thanks. Beth
Do you have a link?
I'll see if it lets me buy it, how far it goes.

The link is for the member's dashboard (logging in). I have to have an account to sign in.
So unless you have a direct link to the image that
the public can see, it appears only Viewbug members can see it and possibly purchase it.
If you can look at another person's profile (account), see if their pictures are offered for purchase.
First I've heard of Viewbug.
I never heard of "Viewbug". But trust me, if you post photos to UHH you can expect them to appear on-line credited to someone else. A couple years ago I had a thread here concerning possible hybrid Egrets. A commentor posted a photo of mine that was attached to a bird ID site credited to another photographer. It was a really nice photo by the way!

Lost a fav that way from/on another site, that BITES!
Never used them but get the same bombardment of emails
Retired CPO reason for not posting on UHH is exactly why I don't post. A couple of years ago I saw one of mine as a contest winner credited to someone else. I haven't posted a picture since
I took a look at what Viewbug had to say about copyright:
Each photo can sell many times and to different people - and you'll make money each time. Your Copyright: always! You will alway be the owner of your photos and you choose which photos you want to sell. We partner with the top licensing agencies in the World to give you maximum exposure to top clients.

I’m a member of viewbug but I don’t know the answer to your question. When I click on the link you provided it takes me to the dashboard for my own page. If you can replace the words “mydashboard” in the link with your username for the viewbug site, I may be able to test it for you.

I've been with Viewbug for a few years now, but it doesn't seem to go anywhere for me. I'm constantly bombarded with promotions to upgrade and improve my chances of winning a contest. Instead they constantly tell me how good I'm doing and how much they appreciate my being a part of Viewbug. Well, if I'm that great, why haven't I won anything?
I haven't seen any cases where they 'sell' my photographs and I don't know how they exist financially, since all the contests are sponsored by 'big name' sponsors. For the most part, I just ignore them.

I’m about to try and figure out how to get out of them all together.
I have been a member for a number of years. I no longer participate in many of their contests as I did not care about them. I offer some prints for sale, but have never sold any. I do like some of the feedback I receive from images I post. They host my web site, bweberphotographs.com. I like the design and it was very easy to setup and modify. Viewbug helped me obtain my own URL for the site and viewbug identity does not appear on the site. Viewbug tech support was helpful setting up the site. In addition, the designed and sold me a watermark at a very reasonable cost.
