Does anyone have recommendations for auxiliary clip on lenses for Cell phones. ?
I seem to be using my phone more and more for casual photos and would like to extend the range at both the wide and telephoto angles.
Many types out there but would appreciate Hoggs input

They're not the best quality, but they work.
Most will not work (mount on the phone) if the phone is in a case, like an Otter Box.

Try posting this in the Smartphone Photography section. Someone there may have some recommendations. And check out the Godox cellphone camera clip on lenses.

I've used the Moment wide angle lens with the Moment case to mount it. I've been VERY satisfied with both the images and video shot with this pair.

If you’re not too picky your digital zoom function may be just the ticket. If you’re looking for decent quality prints of telephoto subjects, get a camera with interchangeable lenses. Camera phones can produce decent prints but not with accessory lenses.

It depends what cell phone you have. Even
variations within model years can determine what works well and what does not. One that worked on my iPhone 7 does not work very well on my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

That’s right. There is no universal mount system. Each lens is designed for the case and lens orientation that it has to attach to.

If you want Top quality then check out the Samsung S22 Ultra for a great zoom lens. It is really amazing. The S 23 will be out soon. The S 22 is being discounted.

Once processed in Lightroom, they look even better.

I tried a few different cellphone lens enhancers. None of them really improved the pic that much plus most don't really attach very good. Don't waste your money, buy a better cellphone. I have a Samsung Galaxy 22S ULTRA, the camera on this unit is fantastic. It sctuslly has 5 lens.
