When I told the Better Half that I wanted to buy a new camera, she told me to go to hell..! Because I always do what she tells me to, I paid the Devil a visit hoping he would side with me and grant me permission to buy the camera. Well, it looks like I'll be making do with what I have for quite a while now.

This is a focused stacked image of one of my preserved wasps that I staged for a session today that turned out looking quite devilish which inspired me to create this composite.

Thanks, Dean. It started out as a typical focused stacked session and when it was done it looked quite evil so I thought that I would see what I could do with it.

Thanks, Joe. I suspect that I will be pulling the covers over my head tonight.

John, try as I might....I failed. I use a little Fujifilm X-T20 mirrorless camera for all of my focused stacking sessions which is what I used for this wasp. I attached a 28mm reversed-mounted enlarger lens on a bellows as the optic for the camera.

Thanks, Fotoartist. It's a composite of today's wasp session and five bits and pieces of images put together to create the final single image.

Thanks, Curmudgeon. I feel the need to stop in the Catholic Church down the street and fill a bottle with Holy Water and sprinkle it around the room that I use for my photography sessions.
