There are seventy-seven days until spring...!!! Each passing day provides a tiny bit longer sunshine and I eagerly await the arrival of our Insect Overlords and the beauty of the flowering plants that attract them.

These are a few of the many images that I have taken that keep me warm and inspired until the magic of spring returns.

Thanks, Fotoartist. The green ones are cockleburs that have yet to mature. They can be quite painful when they stick to the socks and even worse to get them out of the dog's hair.
