Earlier this fall I saw a reference, by Don I believe, to DAP. I visited the site yesterday and ended up purchasing the program. These are some of the first edits I did, lots to learn still as I've only used it for a day. My first impressions are positive and I'll spend more time learning the program. Thought I'd share some of day one. There are over 200 presets with a fair amount of customization possible. The first and second shots are from pexels. After the last picture I'll put a list of the presets used.
If you would like, Please click on the picture, doing so will link you to the gallery page where the shot can be seen in higher resolution and full page. Thanks for viewing and Have A Blessed Day !!!

Very impressive
Thank You, delighted you enjoyed them !!!
Yes, DAP has been one of my favorite go-to programs to dispel boredom. DAP actually paints in layers as you watch you have a choice of color palettes, texture, ... many choice from simple to complex... the manual is available along with free trial.

Interesting! These are better, to me, than most of the painterly things I have seen.

Thank You John, just learning the program, it does have a lot of variety, and I'm looking forward to working with it. It analyses the image then applies different layers of brushes based on that as opposed to using filters. Glad you enjoyed them !!!
#3 is the most appealing to me. It seems to be an interesting program, however.
