Some birds at Goose Island State Park

Recently visited Goose Island again.
Roseate Spoonbill shot through the reeds at the limit for my 150-500mm Tamron, so I needed to denoise and remove a bit of blur. Egrets were a bit closer in.
Pelicans are "sitting ducks" when fishers are filleting...
Sony A7C, Tamron 150-500mm. ISO 640. Shutter speeds varying - available on EXIF.
Post processing using ON1 Photo Raw 2023. Denoise AI and Tack sharp used at up to 30%.

This is a nice set! Don't sell yourself short. Your one BIF here is really well done! I've been chasing BIFs for a few years and it is finally starting to pay off for me. I'm sure it will for you too. Mostly it's fast reaction time and the right settings in camera when they are needed. Tracking comes with practice too. You will get there!
