the 3rd one is nice and moody. I like it
I’m thankful you posted these images that previously didn’t make your cut. I like all of these and all for different reasons, but the underlying reason is these are insightful examples of how a wonderfully photographic mind works.
Number one makes me want to press on the ice surface to see if it “gives” and bends and whether the trapped bubbles can still move…
Number 5 makes me visualize tweaking the focus about a dozen times trying to tell myself when it’s “just right” and considering trying focus stacking for the first time …. If it were warmer outside.
I’m not sure if I can see what it was you saw except you have wonderful images and I just sat on my bum and missed opportunities. Thanks for YOUR memories. They’re the only ones I have.
What am I seeing in number 2…? It wasn’t saying Georgia to me.

Thank you for taking the time to do a very thoughtful commentary. You are right that photo number 2 doesn’t seem like Georgia. It was taken at the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, or Hindu place of worship. It is a very impressive place in a suburb of Atlanta. I did a previous post with additional photos. Attached is one of the photos that gives a more complete view.
Thanks so much for your response. This perspective really changes my sense of immensity of this place. What a diverse country we live in. Almost makes me wonder why we travel abroad. (Don’t get me wrong; I have a lot of air miles in my past, It’s just that Atlanta and other cities right here have a huge diverse collection of photo ops.)
Great sky here by the way.

I like the red flower closeup and the landscape shot. What is the first one...are those white rocks?

Thank you, Merry. Photo #1 is our little lake frozen over for the first time since we moved in..basically a closeup of the ice.
All nice, #5 really appealed to me.
