I created this shot for a first time home owner to commemorate the occasion and to bring luck to the home. I’ve been told that a rooster or hen in the kitchen brings luck. This was shot as a RAW file with a Fuji 100 with GF 63mm f/2.8 R WR, 6.5sec @ f/11 ISO 100. Lighting was by candle light with a small video LED to allow for hand painting in areas requiring additional illumination. PP was in Lightroom Classic 12.1 consisting of basic exposure, tone curve and Vignette adjustments. I liked the results and was curious how my UHH associates would critique it.

Nice photo!!
You just reminded me about a ceramic rooster my mother had in our kitchen when I was growing up and she told me it was a housewarming gift that was supposed to bring luck. I just thought it was ugly.

Dodie, Thanks. As a matter of fact my mother made this rooster many, many years ago. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say.
Thank you also to Architecht1776 and BassmanBruce.
You set this up very nicely. I think the lighting is great. Well done.
