Your weather is down here in my yard, drunk and acting like a fool. I’m gonna need you to come down here and get it!
My 70+y.o. neighbor now has an "ice-skating ditch" in her front yard! (I'm north of G'boro, almost in VA.)
For all my cool – if not downright frozen – friends, (1) COVER YOUR HEAD! You lose 1/4 of your body heat through your head. (2) Layer your clothes. Keep the looser weave stuff on the inside, and the tighter weave stuff on the inside. (3) Mylar bags - such as snack bags - can be opened and trimmed to use as shoe- or boot- liners. Mylar will reflect a lot of your heat.
Stay warm, and Merry Christmas to y'all! 🎄

Thanks guys. Seriously, I know y’all north of us have it a LOT worse (even though you DiD choose to live there 😎), and God forbid you have to fly this weekend. Stay warm, stay safe and have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

Lol!
Good one.
Merry Christmas! Stay safe.
We're having a paralyzing ice event here in Portland. Ice crystals tinkled down all night, leavingvan inch-thick sheet of solid ice over out streets. Major highways closed, PDX and SeaTac closed. Walking is dangerous. This evening I went to feed neighbor's cats and to leave had to sit on a bag and slide down the driveway on my butt! Wheee!
A vintage 69 brut harversted in the Modina region from one of the lower valleys would do nicely. If that isn't doable then a ventage December 2022 can of Keystone would likely put us both in the mood as well. Least me anyways.
It is brutal here in north east Texas. 8 degrees last night. With wind. My cows are calving.

At least you got an E ticket ride out of it.
