Interesting. I'll write my own, though.
Complete with a typewriter. No batteries to run down.
Poets, a dime a dozen. Good poets, rare and priceless.
This guy is no "flybynight" rhymer but the genuine article. Benjamin Aleshire is from rural Vermont, but has been in New Orleans and Brooklyn N.Y. His work has been published in the Boston Review, the Iowa Review and many others. The Literary Times of London broke with a 233 year old tradition and invited Aleshire to contribute a poem for the first time as the lead article. He is also involved in small scale publishing as the founder of Honeybee Press, which employs letterpress printing, handmade paper and traditional bookbinding methods. His published works are in the special collections at Yale University and other places. He has received numerous awards and prizes and has been artist in residence at various symposiums including the famous Breadloaf conference.
What I have "lifted" from various places is only the tip of iceberg for this fellow. He uses a manual Olivetti; I mistakenly thought that it was a Smith Corona that used a ribbon in a cartridge.
