Neither of them look as though they've missed too many meals :-)

Cute little rascals. I had a baby one as a teenager. Raised him on a bottle every four hours day and night for about two weeks. Then started taking him down to the creek to teach him about being a Racoon. Very intelligent, friendly, fun critter!

Thank you Mr Spock. These were good size, they have a varied diet.

He grew into adulthood and was banished from the house when he started shredding my Dad's cigarettes. He was an inveterate thief and we had to make sure that any visitors took an inventory of their possessions including watches and rings before they left.
I put an insulated box into a tree for him to hibernate in. In the spring he had left, never to be seen again.

Nice shots.

I have never seen one, but I am related to a Kuhn. Does that count ;)

In all seriousness we don't have them here but there are some in the south of the province.
I was told a dead one was found a bit north of here. Speculation is that it hitched a ride on a freight train and fell off and was killed on impact with the ground.

Thank you for taking a look Herman. I took these thru a kitchen window.
I didn't feel comfortable going outside with them.
