I'm just trying to get a meal here, so don't go warning them.
There will still be a bunch for you to take their pictures.

Sony RX10iv, 220 mm*, 1/1000 @ f/4, ISO-640
*Eqv. of 600 mm on a full frame

Adult Cooper's Hawk looking things over in my backyard. From the size, probably a female. And she is irritated that all those flying snacks have vanished.

Well done, we had a visit from a Coopers hawk years ago.

They must enjoy easy living in your back yard...always there for photo ops. The one that frequents our yard makes a quick check of the bird feeders and keeps on going!!

Thanks, well keep an eye out. They like to cruise over up high looking for birds or perch in a tall tree/power pole etc.

They come down to my yard because of the places to perch, water dishes/bird bath, squirrels, field mice, tree rats, lizards etc. feeding off the bird seed the perching birds knock down for the ground feeders like doves.

Well Mr & Mrs Squirrel who live in the neighbor's tree had a large litter this last summer and a few of them are into playing hide and seek with the hawks while they raid the bird food. Either thrill junkies or not too bright. The hawks keep hoping to put fresh squirrel on the menu as they try to catch one in and out of the large potted plants.
