We left the San Diego harbor side and drove to Coronado Island. The Hotel del Coronado was outfitted for the holidays. The sky was hazy with interesting clouds. Before returning to the mainland, we took shots of San Diego. I like the 14mm lens for this type of work.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

That’s a great shot of the hotel Del Coronado entrance. The thing with a really wide lens is that it can distort linear objects. That can be dealt with in post though.
My Lady and I stayed there for a 2010 New Years Eve Gala in the Grand Ballroom. We had several days to wander about and enjoy the sights and attractions that are there.

Well done MikeπŸ‘

Nice shots. Used to be stationed across the water at Pt. Loma on the Sperry AS12 and to the east at 32nd Street on the Iwo Jima LPH 2. Long time ago over half a century. Time sure flies.

Thanks, Pete, I just liked the sweep of the shot and decided not to tinker.
