That's exactly why I shoot with tilt shift lenses. They are sharper corner to corner than all other lenses. The newest Canon 24,50,90, and 135L L lenses are incredible, tilting the focus plane makes it possible to capture impossible depth of focus... Then their are panos reaching 12000 x9000 for print. I actually pan with the 50 and 90 with great accuracy...
