Yellow Crowned Night Heron. Not sure why the yellow doesn't show up on his crown. His legs look yellow. Maybe not fully adult.

Thank you, Jack! These were taken with my first DSLR. D200 12mp sensor, but what a great camera! Built like a tank! We were hoping to get some at Sanibel Island here in Florida, but Hurricane Ian put the kybosh on that! Yeah, my favorite heron too!
