I've got 'brownies', red bellied b****s, redbacks, maggies and bandicoots.

A bandicoot won't k**l you, they just dig up the yard.

... and serious boomers when a doe is on heat.

The second one on the left (old, healed, shredded ears) is trying to see off the other three. The doe is under the veranda.

This was current in the early 80s. We were 'new chums' then. We learned a lot about the old place through this song.

The lyricist obviously doesn't/didn't know anything about our gun laws.

No mention of guns in my post. That vid was from the 80s, it was more or less open slather for guns then. No one

thought much about it until the Port Arthur Massacre in 96. Now, semi-auto anything is a big deal and tightly

controlled. The record for school shootings and mass shootings speaks for it self.

And yes, contrary to NRA disinformation ... we have the right to self defense ... but not with a gun.

And yes, the crims have managed to be as well armed as the cops.

So posting a video that cites AR-15s doesn't mention guns? Nice try Tex. FAIL!!

Are you going to say colonialism was pretty benign everywhere but Australia? There were no penal colonies in the US?

Criminals in those days were 't***sported' for property crimes like stealing bread.

It was the missionaries that were the real worry ... aiding in the dispossession, the active destruction of language and

culture and the breakup of social groups. "Heeres Jeesus!"

Regarding your first sentence: Uh, where did I say any such thing? The OP post was an Australian song not American, so that's what I addressed. I bet the Native Americans also wish they had some AR-15s.
And the rest of your post just validates what I said whether you realize it or not.

Dispute it, instead of trying to be a witling. Oops. My bad. You're not trying, you are a witling.
