A couple of months ago I posted some photos of a magnificent baroque synagogue in Le Langhe, a particular area of Italy in Piedmont that is known for wine, cheeses and truffles and even hazelnuts and olives. It's really a special place that may not be as well-known as Tuscany or the Amalfi Coast, as some examples, yet it is every bit as great a destination. While not as famous, places that you'd find there are still well-known, especially if you are a wine-buff, like Barolo, Barbaresco and Asti. Here are some photos that will show a broader picture of Le Langhe from our last trip to that region

When we were in Italy these hilltop villages looked like they were designed by artists. Ah, the Italian soul!
You have a nice set of photos here, and the first one is stunning, to me anyway.

Great shots, be fun walking around. Anybody know if the still make Thuringer, ( kind of salami ) haven't seen any in years. Sure was good.
