Well, not just yet… although we can hope.

But several Trump supporters — including those who don’t like him anymore but h**e Biden enough to v**e Trump again should these two go head-to-head again — have commented in other UHH threads that Trump will not get the nomination.

So my question… to both sides… what do you think Trump would do if he lost the nomination?

He'll probably run as an independent under the Superman Trading Card Party.

Start another Big Lie that he was robbed of the nomination. He won’t accept the loss of a nomination with any more grace or integrity than he showed when he lost the Presidency. He will try to rally his supporters into violence.

I really hope he runs as a 3rd party candidate, thus hammering the nail further into the Republican Party coffin. This would be justice after watching the cowards refuse to say anything against their cult leader for the last 7 years.

Whether he runs as a republican or independent b- it hands the presidency to the democrats . Combine that with what we see as McCarthy’s focus in the house - investigation after investigation

Things looking bleak.

We have to totally rid conservatism of the trump and trump cult nightmare.

Why would you hope that Trump loses the nomination if you are so sure your boy Biden could beat him?

You sat on Trump's cards? That must be better than sitting dazed and confused in the Democrat pig pen all day.

FA, you have not been following my posts very carefully. Biden is not "my boy," and I am not sure that Biden could beat anybody in another two years.

I have disdain for only one person, and that is Trump. And while having him run against Biden again -- and lose AGAIN -- would give me great pleasure, I have a deeper concern for my good neighbours to the south. America needs a decent person as POTUS. Biden is far more a decent person than Trump, but he is not the shining star that no one else can outshine.

So since you have obviously missed or forgotten my political leanings regarding the US I will repeat them: I care not whether your country is led by a Democrat or a Republican; but I do care that it be run by an upstanding individual that the world can respect, and who can be held up by parents (anywhere in the world) as an example of what any American child could aspire to become. Trump is NOT that person.

What is decent about Biden? I respect Trump's decency but Biden has none. How can anyone respect Biden and the Biden crime family after the revelations from the H****r laptop? Don't you realize this was a t*****rous assault for the pursuit of personal profits at the expense of America and Americans?? And then look what he did to our country in the disastrous Afghanistan pullout! On top of that he snubs all Americans by saying the border crisis is not important. I don't respect anyone who has any respect for this slime bag and his complicit party.

Joe Biden, like the good little soldier of the far left he is, as President, has reversed almost every single one of Donald Trump’s policies that were working and keeping our country whole and prosperous. And now our country is in total shambles because of it. The big tech oligarchs, the g*******ts, and those who sold out to China are richer than they’ve ever been, but the hundreds of millions of American citizens are getting poorer and poorer every day as their communities become more violent and their basic civil rights are slowly being stripped from them.

But you maintain we must stop Trump because you don't like him personally. Trump was making America great for the average citizen, and the billionaires and the oligarchs, and the corrupt could not allow that to happen because that would cut into their profits. Of course only a deeper thinker than you could comprehend that.

Trump attempted to stop the peaceful t***sition of power. Trump suggested we throw out the Constitution. Trump colluded with the P***d B**s and other W***e s*********t groups.
Yet, here you are defending Trump.
BTW - You can stop whining to the Admin. I'll just permanently ignore you going forward as you never have anything useful to add to the conversation.

I find it hard to believe that you can't see Trump for the true person he is. He has NEVER done anything for America that did not do something for HIM FIRST. It matters not if it is a policy that he put in place (which was for the benefit of the rich... and MAY have had some ripple effect downward, but very infrequently) or whether it was an outlandish outburst that simply kept his name in the spotlight (because ANY press is better than no press) regardless of whether it was bad for your country. Trump has the morals of a slug -- no, wait, a slug has more moral backbone than Trump -- yet decent people kiss his ass and overlook all that he truly is. If you think Trump raised the image of the US and garnered the respect of the world then you are delusional. AND if you think the rest of the world does not matter then you are even more delusional.

America needs to lead the world; and good leaders are followed out of respect, not fear; they are revered, not mocked; they are admired, not scoffed at. It is unimaginable that a President of the United States would sell photoshopped images of himself as a superhero in order to get money to pay his lawyers to defend him against criminal charges (wait for it). You know, if one congress person or Biden or the AG were the only one (or 2 or 3) who saw Trump as a criminal it would be easy to construe this as political assault. But when you have the DOJ, a bipartisan congressional committee, and countless state AGs ALL seeing criminal behaviour, then it doesn't take a PhD in statistics to conclude that maybe there is something there. Even Trump's own "nothing but the best" advisors like Barr advised him to stop lying about the "s****n e******n" and accept the will of the American people as expressed in the fairest e******n ever (I know, you are still turning over pebbles hoping to find the evidence).

Trump is the worst POTUS in history, and I believe that even people like you know deep down that that is a fact; yet you and your fellow Trumpettes cannot admit this to yourselves, so you parrot Trump himself in claiming that he was the best POTUS ever... even better than Lincoln or Washington. You can choose not to believe in or learn from history, but history is based on facts, and those are being revealed in the numerous books that have been written with Trump as the focus... even books by his former minions. How many books have been published in the past 4 or so years that have touted the greatness of Trump? And how many books have come out showing Trump for who and what he truly is? Have you read any of the books? Are you aware of what went on in the WH during his presidency? I really don't understand how anyone can still stomach this man after reading the true facts about him and his behaviours.

It has been refreshing to see a few former Trump supporters here on UHH coming around and at least saying good-bye to the scumbag and saying they hope he does not run again (a soft admission that MAYBE he was not the best thing since sliced bread). It would be really great to see you in that boat. Does he really have to shoot someone on 5th Avenue before you will stop admiring this creature?
