Sitting in the house today I decided to play with some flash shots.
I set up a speed light in a soft box diffuser and using white foam board as a reflector, I shot a few items that were easily accessible.
The cutting board was in between the light and foam board.
The soft box was a 24" octagon by Wescott-I think it's called a "rapid Flash"?
I did take a shot of the set up and I will post that at a later time

I’ll take the last item, please!! Nice product lighting, tradio!!
Awesome Kimber!
Nice -
I like your set up, nice and quick and does a good job -
When I was working I carried a knife, not a Congress but a Jim Dandy, I don't know if they make either of them any more.
I always had a wad of keys the size of my fist now it's three, house key, car thingamajig and mail box key
I have a carry and conceal permit, a Smith and Wesson M&P .380 -
No tootsie pop
So I guess our pockets are almost the same.
I like your shots, still life is difficult

Well done Mr Tradio! One can say Your lighting is very very very soft (diffused) because there is almost no shadow cast by the subject itself. What was the distance "Octagon Westcott/Subject"?
Nice lighting - well done!
Very nicely done. Thanks for sharing the details of your studio setup.

Nice, but where is the extra mag?

Here is a shot of the set up. The soft box was just inches from the cutting board and the white foam board reflector was tight to the cutting board on the opposite side. I do not recall the power out put of the single flash.
Camera was D850 with a 24-70 non VR lens and the flash was a SB-910.
Hope this was helpful.

Sad to report, I do not usually carry an extra mag. I try not to visit places that require extra mags.
Thanks for looking and the comment.
Nice--the key shot is my favorite.

That sounds like a great plan to me. The Kimber is a fine looking piece, and the photos very nicely done.
Nice...I consistently carry a Case stainless folder and have switched from the Colt Mustang to the S+W EZ380.
A man after my own heart. Same stuff I carry, different brands and caliber though. Just picked up a Taurus GX4 in 9mm. Smaller and lighter for all day. Thanks for the excellent image.

Have you fired the Taurus yet? I've read good things about it and am thinking of switch in to a smaller, lighter pistol from my Colt Combat Commander.
