This is one of the many holiday items we have displayed in our pediatric doctors office. I know my mother told me this. Happy holidays to all.

Isn't it the strangest thing,
That Santa is so shy?
We can never, never catch him,
No matter how we try.
It isn't any use to watch,
Because my parents said,
"Santa Claus will only come
When children are in bed!"

Cute - Nice swing to it - All my kids and most of my grand kids are too old for that but I have a bunch of great grand kids who will hear it. Thanks - good post.
I hope Santa brings you a special present and irradiates Covid and all it's little Covids, the flu, RSP and Monkey pox - Wouldn't that be nice?

You see a lot of Santa's in the mall that listen to what you wish for but they aren't the ones that bring you gifts. The ones that bring you gift look quite different.

Very lovely Sam. You are a sweetheart. I bet you are a great nurse. My 79 year old wife is in hospital after back surgery. She comes home on Saturday - best Christmas present ever.

And HOW TRUE!!! I never could catch him. He must have come at 3 a.m.
One time when we were visiting my Grandparents at their farm in Kansas, I was about 3. There were four cousins in the house at the time and Santa made a visit on Christmas Eve. I cracked everybody up when I said, "look, Santa has shoes just like Grandpa!!"
And HOW TRUE!!! I never could catch him. He must have come at 3 a.m.
