She looks a little "out of sorts" with the depth of the snow.

Now she has to eat the leaves and bark off the trees, or dig up the snow to find any
thing to eat during winter. She will survive another winter.

I understand that they don't dig in the snow. They find food sources and then stay close to those food sources.
