Stacked 74 ea 120-sec exposures in ASI Studio Stack, processed in Pixinsight to break apart R, G, and B data. Recombined using separate luminance layer into final Hubbell palette.

A narrowband filter that eliminates all visible light and only passes Hydrogen and Oxygen wavelengths was utilized.

Great astro-pic!

I remember trying to see this nebula from my backyard - Cary skies were darker then - using my 7" Starmaster Dobsonian. It was quite a challenge, but I eventually saw it; just that one time.

The main imaging telescope is a RedCat51, 250mm focal length. THe filter i use blocks out all visible light and only passes Hydrogen and Oxygen wavelengths.

Just curious, did you crop the image or is this the full size the sensor allows? Reason being, the Pelican would have been a nice addition to a wonderful image of a beautiful nebula.
