Great set of images!! Don
But I can't say I'm impressed with interior of the car, the wood in the dashboard looks cheesy with the knots!!

I wondered what happened to Shay. Thanks for capturing the info sheet. The sheet on the windscreen claims 1929! I always thought they were steel from the original presses. mmm. Research needed. The spokes in the wheels are a giveaway then the filler cap in front of the left rear wheel. Thanks for the nice photos.
I had a closely similar 1930 just after WW II. Filler cap was in front of windshield for gravity-fed tank.

Yes that was a ford thing, the cowl doubling as a fuel tank, and the fuel gauge was in the right place. This car (Shay) is built on Ford Pinto Running gear I guess the tank is in a more conventional location.

Sometime a well done replica is much more drive able then a real one .
nice set of shots Don, but I prefer my kit cars to say "Cobra" on them somewhere :))

👍 on that! I’m sure the builders could have found a piece of clear grain wood, and something besides pine, for that dash.
