Any suggestions on where to send my Nikon D7200 for repair? The knob on the top left of the camera, both the top and bottom knob, has frozen up. I can turn it with a great deal of difficulty but I would like to get it fixed so it turns smoothly. I have no idea why it is suddenly frozen. I always shoot on manual so I rarely need to turn it.

I don't know where you should send the camera to repair but yes in this case I think it's worth it to have it repaired. I don't think it needs parts (which Nikon no longer sells to independent repair shop) so an independent repair shop can do it.

Authorized Camera Repair in Willow Grove PA. Check out their website. They repair all makes of digital cameras including Nikon. They do excellent work and their prices are fair and reasonable, and they won't mislead you or rip you off.

Are you pressing the Mode Dial Release Lock and/or the Release Mode Dial lock when attempting to rotate these dials? Check pages 6 and 8 in your Nikon D7200 manual.

Yes, of course. I can turn them with a great deal of effort.

Another vote for Authorized Photo Service in Illinois. Very friendly customer service, excellent and reasonably priced work. They usually offer a quote over the phone.

KEH does repairs. They repaired both my Nikon D810 and my Nikon 24-70 lens for a very reasonable price and did it quickly and professionally. I recommend them.

Unless you know your camera is a US serial number, I don't advise sending to Nikon as they will not work on it if it is not a US serial number, nor will they tell you until it has been there a while. They will also charge you return shipping, even if they won't work on it.
