My id, the only one on the system, is an Admin. The program was doing something that required that it be "Run as Admin"; however, it hung at that point rather than displaying an error message and exiting. The other option would have been to request permission to execute whatever it was trying to do as an Admin. There were two problems: 1. Normal applications should never require Admin privileges, and 2. Neither should they hang. Both have been fixed the right way, by eliminating the requirement for "Run as Admin".
Note: Since mine is the only account, anything I install is "for all to use".
