At least it’s good that it is being repaired.

Bill, reconstructing the gazebo is most important to preserve the landmark. From what I see work is progressing pretty well.
It is a great image that I like very much and as it has been already said the light is beautiful and makes a great contribution to this shot.

Thanks William - I'm glad you liked it and always appreciate your comments. The construction is moving along, although there are large gaps of time where nothing is done. I think I'm probably just being impatient and am hoping the new metal gazebo is a good replacement for the old wooden one.

John - they put some safety fencing around the gazebo initially, and then nothing much happened. It looks like construction is starting to pick up speed now.

The last major storm that hit my hometown destroyed a wooden Gazebo that had been a local landmark for a very long time. The old wooden structure is being replaced with metal, although it won't be completed until Spring 2023. There's progress being made, but it's not very quick.

Thanks Bob - I'm glad you liked it and always appreciate your comments. It was the one of the coldest days of the year so far, but it was still nice to be out in the early morning light.
