Well according to his Press Secretary, he wasn't responsible for their rising in the first place but now you want him to get credit for their decline? Kind of a "Having-Your-Cake-And-Eating-It-Too" thing? What is it?
Yeah, I already know you response to this one. Don't bother Eric.

I think I made myself pretty clear....

You chump monkeys blamed Biden for high gas prices.. many times.
You followers of the pied piper chanted that Trumpty Dumpty reduced gas prices when he was squatting in the White House.

Now, you flounder about when asked why you can't give credit after placing blame.

You're slow, Scott. Real Slow.

Under Trump gas was less than $2.00. Under Brandon, it doubled or tripled or quadrupled depending on your location in 6 months.
And you are predictable and tedious at the same time.

Oil is a "global commodity" so, if you can't figure out that OPEC along with supply and demand are the only reasons for gas prices, well, like I stated before, you're slow. Sort of a MTG slowness about you. Don't you agree?

Are you sure you're not the one with MTG slowness? Seems you're still no good at math.

As I follow slopes.com and believe they are a trusted source, I'll give you that one.

BUT

Chump demanded that Saudi Arabia cut back production back in 2020. According to Chump, he worked out a deal where OPEC producers would all agree to reduce their output. The reason we now have high oil prices is that they have not returned their production to pre-p******c levels. Hey, by the media’s standards of what makes a politician responsible for an event in the world, this is practically airtight.

It’s more than a bit bizarre that Donald Chump literally boasted about getting oil producers to cut production, but somehow President Biden is held responsible for high gas prices.

AND

On June 30, 2018, Chump stated that he blames “turmoil and dysfunction” in Iran and Venezuela for the rising gas prices, but Chump himself is responsible for the disruption in oil supplies from Iran. His decision to pull out of the Iran nuclear deal had an immediate upward effect on gas prices, and the impact will surely be felt by travelers this July Fourth holiday.

Bottom line: As I've stated many times and as you and yours have not been able to comprehend....

“Prices are set by the market,”. “If there is a major increase in demand (demand resurgence as worst of p******c ends) or supply disruption (Ukraine conflict fallout), it’s not clear how any US President would have many levers to alter that situation in the short run.”

I'll spell that out for you, again. The US president does not control the price of oil therefore they do not control the price of gas.

And another....

In another Fox News interview that aired on Tuesday (2021), Chump claimed the increase was even bigger: “Gas was at – gasoline, $1.83 or $1.86 when I left, a gallon. And now it’s at $7.70 in California, in different places in California, and it’s heading that way everywhere.” (Chump's incoherent words, not mine)

Facts First: Both of Chump’s claims about gas prices at the time he left office were off by more than 50 cents per gallon. The national average for regular gas on his last day in office, January 20, was $2.393 per gallon, not $1.83, $1.86 or $1.87, according to data provided to CNN by the American Automobile Association. And while there is a remote California station where gas prices have exceeded $7.50 this fall, it’s misleading to cite any one station as the figure for “California,” as Chump appeared to do on Sunday – especially because this station has been known for years as one of the most expensive in the country. The average gas price in California was $4.704 on Sunday and $4.705 on Tuesday, according to AAA data. That was the highest average for any state, but it was far from Chump’s claims of $7.50 and $7.70.

In the interview that aired on Sunday, Chump said that gas was selling for $1.87 both “when I left” and “a year ago.” In context, the “a year ago” very much seemed to still be referring to prices at the time he left office, which was actually 10 months ago. But for the record, he would have been incorrect even if he was talking about prices a full year prior to the interview’s air date. The national average gas price was $2.113 per gallon on November 21, 2020, according to AAA.

And another.... br br In another Fox News intervi... (show quote)

My oh my. Aren't we a little butthurt cause you got pwned. I hope you copied and pasted your last two responses cause it would be a shame to waste all your time typing all that irrelevant stuff in. Just WITH does any of that have to do with my post? Tell it to someone else. Does anything in your replies change the fact that gas was under 2 bucks during Trump's presidency?
And I'm gonna pwn you again. Your quote: "Bottom line: As I've stated many times and as you and yours have not been able to comprehend......."
So I challenge you to show me where I have said the president controls the price of gas. I'll be waiting.
