Pairs and combintations.
These are not necessarily good photos but I was surprised at the different pairs of birds. This was on a nearly dry pond as our long drought continues.

Thanks you Oath. The day before this I was in the area and there were more than 30 species of birds using this small pond. It is so dry and I feel so sorry for all wildlife in the area. Loved your photos that you posted. They are great.
Thank you Lolyd, this season my friends inThailand go out to take photos of birds that make me want to take too.
It is my luck because just got information about Egles at the Dam not so far from my place then it is my chance. I planned to go tomorrow or Saturday but not sure if I get good photos as I do not have a bigger lens than 100-.300mm.
WOW!! What a conglomeration of birds you got/ When water gets scarce everyone becomes friends. Nice Photos
Thanks rlaugh and tramsey. It is an unusual fall. 79 degrees and windy. Some years we have had snow by now. This Buck just about ran over me while I was hiding in the bushes. Scared him almost as bad as it scared me.
Ugley buck
Oh how I wish I could get some flicker photos! Looks like you have an ideal place to shoot birds.

Yes, the drought in the Southwest makes for strange bedfellows. Hope things improve in your area.

Sorry you have a drought. Wish we could have sent you some of the 9 inches of rain we just got on the Jersey Shore.

Wish you could too. Sorry you have the mess you do. These are strange and scary times.
It did rain .58 inches last night. Of course that will not end the draft but every drop helps. Thanks you all for your kind comments. The dry weather made the photo opt possible by making a small area for the birds to congregate in one area and leaving me a place of concealment.
