The C-8 has not had a body change, yet. The changes yearly have been in trim and options. Is Chevrolet posturing for a complete re-design? The European manufacturers have discovered complete lines for vehicles previously limited to one body style. Porsche is the best example of this happening already. They have introduced various versions of the old 911 and now have almost a full line of them. Their trend in automotive manufacturing seems to lie in cramming as many people into a vehicle as possible. 4-door Porsche 911s are quite the rage for people wanting to bus others around. This is typical for European and third world nations that have over-population problems and the need for mass transportation. With the exception of the mess on our eastern seaboard this country has no need for more buses. 2 doored 2-seaters are still quite popular and provide all the boost needed. If Chevrolet sees need to go the bus route they always have the mini-Vette in the Camaro, which is slated for termination in 2024. Chevrolet kept the world guessing about mid-engined Corvettes for 67 years and they see no need to let the cat out of the bag on buses just yet. This media frenzy is going ballistic, the guessing game is getting ridiculous. The "artist's renditions" are getting out of hand and according to the on-line chat rooms there is NO interest in this vehicle among the general public. It is a freak, and America has had its share of them. Anybody remember "New Coke"?
