I don't care about the year. If you wrap it up, I'll take it

Could be a 2020, 2021 or 2022 - I can’t tell the difference (but I bet some ‘Vette aficionados can).

All Vettes are pretty. But the newer ones don't have the pizazz of that l - o - n - g front end of the older ones.

The C-8 has not had a body change, yet. The changes yearly have been in trim and options. Is Chevrolet posturing for a complete re-design? The European manufacturers have discovered complete lines for vehicles previously limited to one body style. Porsche is the best example of this happening already. They have introduced various versions of the old 911 and now have almost a full line of them. Their trend in automotive manufacturing seems to lie in cramming as many people into a vehicle as possible. 4-door Porsche 911s are quite the rage for people wanting to bus others around. This is typical for European and third world nations that have over-population problems and the need for mass transportation. With the exception of the mess on our eastern seaboard this country has no need for more buses. 2 doored 2-seaters are still quite popular and provide all the boost needed. If Chevrolet sees need to go the bus route they always have the mini-Vette in the Camaro, which is slated for termination in 2024. Chevrolet kept the world guessing about mid-engined Corvettes for 67 years and they see no need to let the cat out of the bag on buses just yet. This media frenzy is going ballistic, the guessing game is getting ridiculous. The "artist's renditions" are getting out of hand and according to the on-line chat rooms there is NO interest in this vehicle among the general public. It is a freak, and America has had its share of them. Anybody remember "New Coke"?

Would love to see that one parked in my garage - although my C5 might get a little jealous.

There is no 4 door 911. The 4 door Porsche that shares some front end styling with the 911 is a Panamera and a different car - model/design numbers 970 (1st Gen and 971 2nd Gen).

And regardless of what C&D says, a ‘Vette should always be a 2 door sports car, not a 4 door or God forbid, turned into an SUV. A Corvette as a product line? That’s just incomprehensible to me.

My educated guess is that it is a 2021. That year there were 2 different reds, Red Mist Metallic and Torch Red. Red Mist Metallic was more subdued than the classic Torch Red. From you image the body color appears to be Red Mist Metallic and was intro'd in 2021. Those rims were 20/21 options.

I don't care what year it is, Kim, it's the most beautiful Vette yet and my favorite.

The easy description would be to call this a C8 and the actual year doesn't matter all that much. It is a terrific production automobile.
Personally, I would look at the C7s if I were to get serious about another Corvette. I had my '98 C5 for 16 years of trouble free driving enjoyment.

It is difficult to determine the year of most vehicles today, they change so little from year to year. It was so much easier to know during the 50s and even into the 80s .
