I was at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge this week and was happy to see that the birds are arriving. Here's some of what I found (9 images). A few unusual one's...a white American Coot, White Pelican trying to show his tonsils, an Osprey drying his wings (his been hanging out with the Anhingas too much), 2 Bald Eagles perched together, and I've already posted the Great Blue Heron morph in another thread. The spoonbills are back and there are tons of coots along with assorted duck-like birds which I believe the gators are glad to see. I was in the same area about 3 weeks ago and there was next to nothing.

There are a lot of them around here now but soooo hard to catch. Just about the time I get them in focus they're gone.
