We decided to watch a few episodes of “Yellowstone” on Peacock to see what it is all about. What I suspected after episode two (the first year) and confirmed after episode three is that it’s nothing more than a nighttime soap opera. The setting is different and the scenery is pretty, but the plot line is pretty much just like the afternoon “General Hospital” that my wife used to watch. It’s back to a good book for me.

Perhaps Costner should find some more wolves to dance with.

A retake or remake of the TV show, Dallas, only nastier and raunchier.

I can't believe it is so popular! It really is nasty. And there are so many people that moved to MT because of watching that show and seeing the scenery....hoping we get some nasty winters to see how many move back out...lol

I don't know about GH but in Yellowstone, the problem solving involves murder and branding folks as the 'go to first option'. Dallas played it for camp laughs, Yellowstone has no funny bone at all.

It took two episodes? or were you hoping it would get better?

As an aside, Yellowstone is the #1 show on TV

Try the prequel:1883. It’s an entirely different animal, great stars, acting and scenery.

Loved 1883. Looking forward to 1923 with Helen Miren and Harrison Ford. What attracted me to Yellowstone was the scenery especially during the height of the pandemic.

Absolutely agree! Especially Sam Elliot and Isabella May. That young lady is mesmerizing😳

I don’t mind Yellowstone, but I understand those who do. Beth gets on my nerves…a lot. I can’t stand Jimmie and am amazed they are styling yet another series around him.
I’m an Outlander type of gal, lol.

My wife and I tried two or three times before we sat through the first two episodes. After that we became "Yellowstone" fans. Apparently we're not the only ones. Beth is a hoot. Great show to us. Second only to "Ted Lasso" (once again, for us).
