I think the face recognition is the biggest improvement made in A1. Gigapixel can really distort faces and that seems to be corrected when upscaling in A1.

Topaz Gigapixel AI has Facial Recognition.
It is located (hiding) just to the left of the "Trash Can" on the lower right.
It works well enough if there is sufficient data for it to work with.

I have the Trio bundle, and received Photo AI gratis. Sometimes, I need to specialize one of the Trio after using Photo AI. Best to find another way to free up space.

They take up storage space and not memory if you are not using them. I have both, and as was already stated, the individual programs work a little bit better than the Photo AI.
