Its so annoying. Two updates ago, bridge no longer allowed me to manually control the duration of a slide show.
I called Adobe help desk and they told me that my graphics card was no good!! Well I told them it worked fine earlier that am until the latest update was downloaded. The tech guy ignored me. And spent almost 2 hours trying to make things work. Finally he uninstalled the newest version and reinstalled the earlier version. Several months later based on a reminder from you guys at UHH I installed the latest version. No problems. Seems like they have bugs everytime they update. So my solution is just go back to earlier version and reinstall the newest version only after it has been in use several months.

Sadly (and usefully), that's why that fall-back option is available and useful.

Thanks. Tried that without success. My extra step is noted above. Adjust in ACR, click "Open," then back in Bridge, right-click on image & select "Open in Photoshop."

After years of using Bridge, I eliminated that step, I now open in adobe camera raw (ACR) make my adjustments when finished I just click open with, or double click and open in PS

Windows 10 updates every month, but I went through this ritual last weekend (after the most recent update) with no problem. I have also restarted my PC a couple of times in recent days, with no other issues.

You might try to back date your computer to a date when it was working

I had problems loading files into PS a long time ago . Support had me clean the cache. that solved my problem.

I upload my newest images via Bridge, double-click on an image I want to edit, and it opens in Camera Raw. When finished making adjustments, I click "Open." Until yesterday, that opened the image in Photoshop. Now, it simply closes the image, and to open it in Photoshop, I must open Photoshop, find the image and open it again. It seems a setting has changed, but I can't find it. Any suggestions to get me back where I was?

It is so very obvious that, while very bright, the programers who create the product don't use it
