The first barn was a short detour on the way to Thurmond on the south side of the Gorge. Afterwards, we then headed north to the Summersville area.
The beautiful entryway in image #2 is the larger spread that encompasses the MPB in image #3.
In image #4, if you look closely to the left in front of the weathered barn, you'll see a family of deer. That jagged rock outcropping just seemed to transport the barn back into pioneer days for me.
Images #5 and #6 are the same property and I loved the wonderful fall display with its timeless message. (P.S. This barn was a labor of love for me because I spent untold time in PP removing power lines so that the barn would be unspoiled.)
